Petal and Play Learning acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the Traditional Custodians of this land.
We honour their enduring connection to Country at Walliabup (Bibra Lake) and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Step into a world filled with curious minds, and joyful discoveries!
At Petal and Play Learning, every child is a tiny adventurer, eager to learn through play and nature. Our outdoor setting at Bibra Lake Reserve invites children to explore, imagine and connect with the world around them at their own gentle pace. From singing in the sunshine (or rain!), to discovering tiny critters in the garden, every session is an exciting new adventure.
Join us and watch your little one blossom with confidence, curiosity and a heart full of wonder!
Petal and Play Learning are currently developing primary school sessions for the future, designed for home-schooling groups and as incursions for schools.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please get in touch - we’d love to hear from you.

Our nature-based sessions are based in the beautiful surrounds of Bibra Lake Reserve - a space full of natural wonder, calm, and connection.
Why Bibra Lake? This special place offers everything we hope for in an outdoor learning environment: shady trees, open grassy areas for free play, winding paths for little explorers, and the magical sights and sounds of local wildlife.
Children will:
You might spot water birds wading near the lake’s edge, turtles nesting, or native plants in bloom. The lake changes with the seasons: often full in winter, and dry in summer, offering new sights to discover each visit.
There are toilets, ample parking for families, and nearby playgrounds if you’d like to extend your visit before or after the session. In the warmer months, a local coffee van is often nearby - a lovely bonus while your little one explores.
Bibra Lake Reserve is part of Beeliar Boodja, on Noongar Country; land that has been cared for by the Whadjuk people for tens of thousands of years. Families have gathered, told stories, and connected with this place long before us, and we honour that deep cultural and spiritual connection as we learn and play here today.
Gentle updates and early invitations. No inbox overwhelm. Just play, connection, and nature-filled learning for your little explorers.
If you have a question or any feedback about Petal and Play, I’d love to hear from you. Just send me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
